Inaugural Pats Annual Features PD Writers

Three patriotsdaily.com staff writers are among the contributors to the Patriots 2009 Annual, the first-ever Pats season preview published by Maple Street Press.

Dan Snapp, author of the single most-trafficked post in PD history, talks to former Pats defensive coordinators Hank Bullough and Steve Sidwell as he examines New England’s formidable 3-4 defensive front.

Chris Warner pours over the Pats’ twelve-pack of ’09 draft choices, further cementing his status as the go-to guy for New England’s draft aficionados.  He’s not bad with the big club, either.

Finally, PD editor and co-founder Scott Benson thumbs through Bill Belichick’s Rolodex for a look at the front office and coaching changes that occurred during a very active off-season for the Pats.

Maple Street Press, based in Hanover, MA, specializes in annual season preview guides on sport’s most popular teams.

Other contributors to MSP’s inaugural Patriots annual include old friends and PD contributors Chris Price, now of weei.com, and Bill Barnwell, Managing Editor of the popular footballoutsiders.com. They’re joined by Adam Teischer, Chiefs beat reporter for the Kansas City Star (on Scott Pioli) and Gene Frenette, columnist with the Florida Times-Union (on Fred Taylor), as well as Ian Clark, Pats beat reporter for the New Hampshire Union Leader and Concord Monitor sports staffers Jeff Novotny, Dave D’Onofrio and Tim O’Sullivan. Joe Oberkrieser, Steve Mistler and Shaun Kelly round out the coverage.

The Annual is expertly edited by Chad Finn of the Boston Globe and boston.com. Finn also contributes several pertinent articles within the 128 page season guide.

The Patriots 2009 Annual is on newsstands now, and can also be ordered through Maple Street Press.
