Road trip!

After reading Chris Warner’s A Letter From Camp earlier this week, I decided to load the family in our brand new Wagon Queen Family Truckster (the dealer made a, um, error) to see a 2008 Patriots practice for myself. Here’s some early impressions of players we were seeing for the first time:

The first pick is fitting in nicely. The defensive backfield is competent. Chad Jackson is making spectacular catches. And Tom Brady’s fire is still burning. All of this is really good news. Are you sure that your report is not filtered by your love for the team?

Do you have any suggestions on how to get out to training camp without a car–I am visiting Boston next week and would prefer not to rent a car, but it appears that the trains only go to Foxborough for actual games. I’m just wondering if ‘veteran’ Pats fans would have any ideas for me. Thanks.
