Such a great personality, he was my roommate at South Florida, I have always dreamed to watch him on TV. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance yet but, I am sure soon he will be running around hitting people on TV.

I have nothing but outstanding words of praise for Tyrone McKenzie. He is a dedicated, focused, intelligent person with the power to reach and surpass his goals. Ms. Chow

I'm a cop down in Tampa and Tyrone is a class act. Worked with him on security details at the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey games. Glad to see he is healthy again and ready to play. You guys got a great one. Too bad we couldn't keep him for the Bucs... Go Tyrone, Get ya some, baby...

Jim59, Brandon Tate is definitely someone we've been interested in talking to: I actually tried to set up something with him before the draft last year but failed to finalize it (figures that the Pats ended up picking him). Thanks for writing in.

Great interview can't wait to see him in action. I just gut this feeling if he stays healthy he's going to be an impact player and solid leader.

Any chance of a possible interview with Tate. I'd like to know how he's doing and what he did last year etc..

I hope he's healthy this year.

It was a real stomach punch to hear that he'd suffered that injury during mini-camp, of all places. I think the Pats really were counting on him to contribute as a rookie last season.

Hopefully he can team with Mayo inside and they can become the new Bruschi/Phifer (with Guyton as Ted Johnson?) for years to come.

Great interview with a wide variety of questions. I do recommend getting the triangle numbers from the players whenever possible though; its a draftnik thing. Back in the spring, it was reported that McKenzie was working alongside Mayo with the starting group when he popped his knee. Is that true? Also, anytime a player pushes himself to MAXIMIZE their speed after a muscle pull, there's a far better chance of those type of nasty injuries. I had similar problems with my hurdlers.

Thank you, rob. Tyrone did a great job; he's a savvy guy whom I'm looking forward to watching this year (and I could say the same thing about Darius Butler).

Excellent interview. Nice mix of questions that let us know what the guy's all about. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can contribute.
