Thanks for the knee-jerk reaction dude, ok, how about the 2007 Giants – play crap all year and win the SB, would that be cool? Or the 2005 Steelers, who stumbled to a 7-5 record and then…well you get the idea.

Better to lose now, learn from it and ramp up for the playoffs, that’s all I’m saying.

You’re right Mike – I remember the Cardinals taking similar beatings about this time last year, and they came real close to a SB win.

The Saints were so good, I watched a so-called Patriots fan gush at Brees’ numbers and convert to Saints lover over the course of the second half.

What a rough game to swallow. Chili, not-so-much….

Upsides:

For special teams, I think we should give Welker a nod for yet another massive punt return in a huge game (he had one against the Colts too). A missed 50 yarder from Gostkowski, eh, I’d cut him some slack, but, yeah, in big games we need him to show up for those ones.

No punches pulled here, thats for sure.
