What I'd like to see is for us to just send somebody back there to call for a fair catch and catch the ball. That's all. I think the league avg. is around 6-8 yds. per return. Who the heck cares about 6-8 yds when you risk injury or fumbles or who knows what. So put Edelman back there and tell him to just fair catch it. Now in a crucial situation or where the returner looks to get the ball near mid-field then you can put your best guy back there. That may happen once a game at most.
