Good stuff, all of it.

Philip Rivers is the ultimate man-child which is why I don't think he can be called an MVP candidate no matter how well he plays.

As far as Belichick’s personnel decisions, I agree but I have to give him some credit. Every year he not only has to rebuild the team of players, but for the last few years he has also had to rebuild the coaching staff and front office as KC, ATL, Den, NYJ, Clev all pilfer the stars of the team. Add to that, he picks up the coaching slack as best he can. He has become the circus master of ceremonies, the sword swallower, the lion tamer, strong man and bearded lady every week.

Yes he does need more help in personal, O coaching, D coaching, and play calling, and guess who has to lead the search party to find these assistants? Yep, Bill.

HC Dean Pees anyone? There is just no one left due to Belichick’s triumphes, not his failures. Hopefully the guy has a good strong heart because if he ever left, even for a week, the show would not go on and then we would really have something to hang our heads about.
