BB doesn't give a rat's a$$ what these jackals in the media think, and that drives them crazy. They're so convinced in that "profession" that they are the most important people in the room...hell, on the planet...that anyone who doesn't genuflect at their greatness and bow down to kiss their feet and seek their approval must be either insane, or just an "arrogant" jerk. They can't stand that this guy has achieved so much without their stamp of approval. It drives them insane. Dan nailed it.

Its all morality plays and mojo loss over there. You're either a Belichick suck up or the bravest columnist Joe Sullivan has ever seen. I think you're the only columnist I've read that not only acknowledges the "gutsiness" of the call. Several of the usual suspects grudgingly have. But you got WHY it took courage. Because of their hatred. Because he had to know how viciously he would be attacked and didnt give a tin shiit. Great analysis.
