Less controversial grading this week, Mr. G- crushing dumb penalties and a dopey, uncreative defensive game plan (no odd looks, no crazy sneaky unpredictable blitzing on a guy in his second NFL game ever, sure lots of zones, but aggression looked like it would have been the better choice at the end of the day), an offense out of synch with a game plan that was clearly more huh? than u-huh! once they went to the no-huddle. It all makes the coaches look pretty darn stiff. And boy is that O-line looking patchy, and particularly weak in the straight-ahead run blocking. If Brady's not gonna sneak on third and fourth and short any more, well, they've got to learn how to chew short yardage up between the tackles. Tough day- it ain't chicken little time, because it's game two, but the Patches have certainly injected a different kind of interest and excitement into the next game.

I'm probably the biggest BB fan I know but you've got to figure out that "team down south" were going to make offensive adjustments at halftime. So the D would have planned some possible adjustments accordingly, right?

It's a marathon so when Tom gets his groove back this game hopefully will be a turning point. In the mean time I'm sure the knuckle-dragging know-it-alls will only be too happy to scream on EEI while they're busy pointing fingers at the most convenient scapegoat(s).
