Word is that Wilfork has a sprained ankle. Not sure how long he’s out, but it’s got to be for a few weeks, at least. Looks like more 4-3 for a while. In terms of wasted draft picks, the 7th-rounder for P. Burgess was conditional, so I don’t think the Pats lose anything there.

so this cutting of the newly acquired Prescott Burgess and the signing of Terrell Sands doesn’t bode well for Vince Wilfork’s injury does it? also this is the second time this season BB has traded for a guy then cut him. anyone worried about those wasted draft picks?

Bill Belichick has some brass balls……what other coach would go for it on 4th down from his OWN 24 yard line in the 3rd quarter of a close game??……..WOW…..I really don’t think the media spent that much time today talking about how ballsy that call was…….Let’s look at the flip side. Say the Falcons stopped the Pats,took the ball over and went down and scored and the Pats end up losing the game……That’s ALL ANYBODY WOULD BE TALKING ABOUT FOR A WEEK (if not longer) The media would be boiling Belichick in oil. Ron Borges would have been dancing in the streets bare assed naked……….whew….thank God they picked it up…..
