Dudley was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Titans. We wish him well!

I loved this article. Young, hungry, great attitude, and seemingly a gentleman. I will be watching for his name in the draft.

Lance, I understand your comment but respectfully disagree. I find this time of the off-season most fascinating, where athletes (and students: Dudley graduated cum laude) work like hell to give themselves a chance at a phone call from the NFL. I also think that a lot of these hopefuls have a certain sense of personality that you might not get once they make it to the pros. A lot less to lose, I guess.
I think there has been plenty of coverage as to what NFL players do: lift weights, watch film, etc. I don't see how hearing about that will help determine whether or not a player is going to make the team.
Here's the start of that hypothetical interview:
Me: So, how's it going this off-season?
Player: Oh, it's going great. I've been coming here for the optional workouts, knowing that if I opted to avoid them, I'd be screwed. But it's great.
Me: What do you think of Coach Belichick?
Player: He's been great. He just knows so much about football. It's awesome. I really feel like I'm improving with all my working out and film study.
Lance, thanks for the idea for the column: the interview of young players you'll be reading over the next two months.

Hope this comment isn't taken the wrong way but profiles/interviews with guys who the Patriots may or may not be interested in is pretty boring. Instead it would be cook to know what Ruud is doing along with Slater, Redd, Crable and the other young bloods that Patriots actually have under contract.
