larry, of those three players, Peria Jerry could have the most impact. A few years ago I would have said no way, but since 2005 and the Mankins pick, I've learned to stay prepared for anything.

i think the follow up draft projection was just right. though i didn't share your enthusiasm for Cushing. I did like Smith but worried about his size. It feels like we will definitely get a great chance at an elite CB or LB. That guy DT Jerry really stood out at the senior bowl. If he dropped to #23 i would expect them to grab him despite not having big need there.

L.B., if you're using that as a measuring stick, let's agree that the vast majority of human beings with jobs don't watch football. I wanted to do a follow-up on the Senior Bowl and thought this might be a fun way to present it. In terms of being wrong, I'm willing to take that chance, but at least you don't have to pay for this info like you would with Kiper's.

Aren't you curious about whom the Pats will draft? I am. Maybe too much. I just wanted to associate the final college football game with New England and figured this was the best way to accomplish that.

For credibility's sake please ignore the urge to do a mock draft like every other footbal site. Here's a prediction - you'll be wrong. This site is best when you do stories like Lynch or Reese's connection with Belichick but all mock drafts do is take up space and waste time.

"Yes Kansas City HAS GOT TO TAKE A SAFETY WITH that PICK." While Kiper gets orgasms just thinking about who the Raider's might/should pick or some OL from Middle Tennessee State, the vast majority of human beings with jobs don't.
