		<description>I think the draft &#039;only&#039; matters for 4 or 5 years after  which it is usually easier to keep a player than get him but not that much easier.
The point being 1 or 2 good drafts could bring a team back to contention surprisingly quickly.
The wild card of course being the collective bargaining agreement and the salary cap situation staying similar to what it is now, otherwise rich teams could lock up all their young talent by extending contracts with dump trucks of money.

The game eats people up so fast no team is every , really , that far ahead or behind (unless they are owned by a ford level idiot, then they don&#039;t matter at all)

Re: Joey Porter. In my dark heart I wish for Fin fans to recall the current period of futility as &#039;The Porter Years&#039; and that it only end when Porter is finally incarcerated with his droogs.

If it was just the mouth I wouldn&#039;t wish him ill but I believe the man is a thug as well as a braggart.</description>
