Of course, had Sanders made the tackle at the 20, we wouldn't be discussing this. A disappointing showing that set the tone for the entire game, I thought. He may be a former UFA roster longshot, but expecting the 5'10", 175 lb Fernando Bryant to bring him down in the open field at full speed would have been like Indy standing his ground against the boulder! Izzo's nearing the end of his career and has never seen regular action on defense, while guys like Guyton and Redd have been playing special teams (decently, it seems) and platooning on the inside and outside, respectively. Where will they all be in 2-3 years? I also don't see the undrafted rookies making the Patriots practice squad because they'll get snapped up on waivers. Too much potential there, I believe.
