Good stuff. I was reminded yesterday about the distinction between the pundits and the teams (unless Randy Mueller is your GM) when Todd McShay made the point that the teams are not moving guys up and down boards at this point. They know who they want.

Great post-- reading the last month or so of Mike Reiss' mailbag has left me in the same state of mind: people keep writing into Reiss with the same 4 questions and you can see the ancestry to all the questions: "So and so says they never draft linebackers", "I read they would have kept Samuel if they wanted to pay for a corner", etc. It's amazing how many articles can be produced on the back of nothing.

Thanks Dan. It's always amazing to read about people who KNOW who the Patriots should take and who they want. But they never do (Logan Mankins anyone?).

Pre-draft hype is just that and nothing else. It's just mindless filler for writers (perhaps outside Dallas's Gosselin) who know as much as we do.
