For sure I thought Marcellus Rivers was a lock, but they must be real confident that, 1. Thomas is ready and improving and 2. that Kyle Brady is going to get his ass onto the gridiron finally. Man, though, I was digging Rivers' action. Childress wasn't as much of a surprise, as history is usually a reliable guide. And, yeah, I am psyched the Gute made it onto the squad; I think the Pats can have their cake and eat it, too, since I doubt many teams will look to snap up Testaverde at this stage of his career, though he's shown he's still got a little left to give.
