Fortunately we Pats fans here in Virginia were able to see the game on local television as the Bengals took on the Titans in 1 pm action (Richmond, VA is Rudi Johnson country!). I was lucky enough to speak with Rudi's mother, Tryphena, and Rudi is starting to get "very frustrated" with all the losing in Cincinnati. Hmmmm....

Did anyone else get as big a laugh reading Kevin Mannix story in the Herald this morning as I did? He can't understand why Brady wasn't pulled in the 3rd quarter, down by 14. Let's see....we've won 21 straight, we've got a quarter and a half to go, Rohan, start warming up!.

Which begs the question, what's the Herald thinking by keeping Kevin around? He's been there forever, so is he the Eddie Andelman of print news? As bad as Borges can be, at least he makes a rational point occasionally.

Take out the most clutch QB in football with 22 minutes to play. Now THAT would be some fodder for talk radio.

OKO, let's everyone take a deep breath and not panic. Remember, our beloved Pats used 42 starters last year and lost two games. I admit they looked like they didn't even belong on the same field with the Steelers yesterday, but I find it hard to believe that our front 7 will look that bad again this season. Also, for those of you scared of St. Louis, remember that Isaac Bruce is old, Az Hakim plays for Detroit, and Dane Looker is eminently coverably. This is not the Greatest Show on Turf anymore, regardless of what you read in the papers.

Next week doesn't look good unless Law makes a quick comeback. St. Louis, like Pittsburgh, will have 2 weeks to prepare for the Pats.
